The company creates soy candles that are made with pure soy vegetable wax. Most candles sold in the United States are made from petroleum (ie foreign oil). The soy wax used by Bliss Originals is made from soy beans grown in the United States, and therefore supports American farmers. Additionally, the company's soy candles do not produce the same harmful carcinogens and chemicals that paraffin candles release into the environment.
