Shipping Policies

Items in stock will usually ship within 1-2 business days. Transit times can vary based upon destination and may take up to 5-7 business days. Please allow two weeks for custom or out of stock items to ship. If an item is out of stock, you will be notified within 24 hours of placing your order. Candles will not be shipped on Fridays during summer months as we want to ensure that your order is not subjected to high heat over the weekend that may alter its quality or appearance.

Domestic shipping rates are based upon your order total. Shipping will be calculated and added to your order in your shopping cart prior to processing payment. International orders will be sent via First Class Air Mail with shipping charges based on destination. Please place international orders through email--do not use the shopping cart.

We do not ship to PO Boxes. We do not drop ship.

Sales Tax (important update effective 7/1/2008)

Sales tax applies to all residents of Washington State. Please note, with the passage of Substitute Senate Bill 5089 ("Streamlined Sales Tax"), Washington State will change from an origin-based system for local retail sales tax to a destination-based system. Prior to July 1, 2008, Washington retailers collected local sales tax based on the jurisdiction from which a product was shipped or delivered - "origin based". Starting July 1, 2008, they must collect based on the destination of the shipment of delivery - "destination based". This only affects shipments and deliveries to locations within Washington State.

This means that, even though the retail sales tax rate at our location may be 8.9%, if your address lies in an area with a different rate, you will be charged the rate at your address--not ours.

Our shopping cart does not currently facilitate destination based tax collection. Therefore, orders for shipment within Washington State will have tax calculated at 9% (the highest rate applicable in Washington State), then we will refund your credit card the amount necessary to calculate the applicable rate based upon your location. For example, if your order total was $100 and you live in a location with a tax rate of 7%, your order would equal $107.00. You will see a charge for $109.00 ($100 plus 9% sales tax) and then a credit for $2.00.

Sales tax is calculated on your order total, exclusive of shipping charges.

Return Policy

We strive to provide the utmost satisfaction to our customers, and we want you to be completely happy with your order. We will accept returns for thirty days except for reasons stated below.

The customer is responsible for notifying us within 48 hours of receipt if there are any damaged items. Issues as a results of the carrier either missing cartons or damaging cartons must be reported to the carrier directly.

Custom Orders may only be returned for credit towards future purchases and may be subject to a 20% restocking fee.

Returns must include all original, unused items and packaging. Used items are not eligible for return.
